BSfG offers free computing workshops for local primary school students

Exciting news for the community! Brentford School for Girls is kicking off an awesome initiative: free computing workshops specifically designed for local Year 5 and Year 6 primary school students. These interactive sessions will explore the captivating world of computing, blending hands-on activities with practical learning experiences.

In partnership with Digital Schoolhouse, their mission is to equip students with vital coding and problem-solving skills, laying a strong foundation for future studies. The aim is to ignite creativity and innovation, fueling a passion for computing that students can carry with them as they transition to secondary school.

Nasser Masri, the Computing Lead at Brentford School for Girls, expressed that, “These workshops will not only enhance the current curriculum but also spark excitement about technology. The goal is to make computing fun and accessible, inspiring local primary school students to explore the endless possibilities in this field.”
