Personal Development
The school encourages participation in a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs to help develop interests in students. To enable equality of opportunity, these clubs are free to all students.
In addition, our careers advice and guidance is thorough and includes a careers and HE fair held at the school and attended by all year groups. Our careers provision has been recognised national by receiving and holding the prestigious Careers Mark for a number of years.
Personal development is a key component of the school’s vision and the students are encouraged to develop themselves academically, emotionally and personally through the curriculum, assemblies and a dedicated tutor programme.
The students can take on a number of leadership positions in the school and benefit from a wide range of trips as part of the super curriculum.
