On Thursday 14th March we were excited to invite Year 8 students and parents to their Options Evening.
During this time students had the opportunity to meet with the subject teams of all the qualifications that are offered at KS4 - building an understanding of the content that is covered, the assessment requirements and the career pathways that each subject may support moving forward. Using this information students will be equipped to begin the process of making informed choices regarding their Year 8 into 9 options choices.
Year 8 Options Evening – Thursday 14th March 2024
Objectives of the evening
- For pupils and parents to gain an understanding of the options process
- For pupils and parents to have the opportunity to speak with subject teachers and gain an outline of option courses, particularly for subjects that are not studied at KS3
